Deputy

Deputy web client offers a convenient user interface for browsing through the list of packages. It also serves as an authentication point for acquiring tokens that can be used by deputy CLI commands.

Deputy can be accessed using OCR credentials.

Users can navigate to the Deputy landing page to access the packages list and search functionality, user tokens, and reference to OCR documentation. image-4.png

Packages

Within Deputy, all packages available in the digital library are listed. image.png Upon selecting a specific package, users are presented with information extracted from the package's readme file, package versions, and an optional package preview when applicable. In addition, package metadata such as version, license, size, and creation date is displayed. image-7.png image-8.png image-9.png

Tokens

To use Deputy package server, user must first login using a token. Tokens can be created in Deputy web UI. image-2.png Click Create Token, give your token a name and copy the value right away, as the value cannot be accessed later. image-3.png
